speed restricted on jdm import 2.2 vtec
hey everyone!
sorry if this is old sh*t but,
Is there an easy way of disabling the speed limiter on my jap imported prelude 2.2 vtec without getting the cars ecu chipped?
I have heard that there is a module behind the speedo & there is a wire you can cut to kill it!
Is this true?
If so, anyone know where i can find more about it?
Cheers all!

no you cannot just cut a wire to kill it.
there are a few ways to do it.
1. chip or hondata
2. apexi rev speed meter
3. HKS SLD (speed limiter defencer)
4. fields sfc
5. get a usdm ecu

SEARCH! Oh, and try to remove that word "jap" out of your vocabulary.
It is offensive and ignorant.
