Default squeaky intake

I have a d16y7 (1998 dx) with an eBay intake. After installing the intake I noticed that it would squeak when accelerating. I thought it was a cheap eBay filter, but I bought an AEM filter and I hear the same squeak, any thoughts or ideas on what is causing this to happen?

Thanks!

It's a completely normal sound when using an open-element intake.

There isn't a "fix" because there is nothing wrong with it. It is caused by the air rushing past the throttle body plate at certain throttle positions.

Take it off if it annoys you that much.

take some physics class. air passing a sharp edge produces sound. could be filter to intake tube, intake tube to tb, tb to im, im to head. more likely the first one.
