Default b16a2 using thicker head gasket to reduce compression ratio for a turbo vs new pistons

ok i have a b16a2
i am currently broke..but i am dreaming of eventually turboing my car
i was wondering whats the cheapest way to turbo up my car
-note, i want it to be cheap, but i dont want to waste my money
(ie i dont want to do mod "A" then when im ready for mod "B"
the mod "A" crap is useless)

also i dont want to spend money/time for getting more power if its not gonna be much gains

i am very new to car tuning
the 3 way i know of to get more power via turbo for this car are:
1)keep stock internals, add turbo
psi boost: ?
whp gains: ?
2)use thicker head gasket, add turbo
psi boost: ?
whp gains: ?
3)buy lower compression pistons only, add turbo
psi boost: ?
whp gains: ?

-also if mthod 3 is the best, how much better
would it be to go ahead and do the crackshaft, and cams etc...

i know the absolute best would be to build the engine all the way
but thats megga money

i questions is what the the correct path(order) of mods to do
, which ones Must be done together
,and which ones can wait

Dude, you have no idea what you are talking about.

1)keep stock internals, add turbo
psi boost: What Turbo
whp gains: Try to stay under 300whp
2)use thicker head gasket, add turbo
psi boost: This idea is dumb, refer to option 1
whp gains: 0
3)buy lower compression pistons only, add turbo
psi boost: See option 1
whp gains: 0

</TD></TR></TABLE>

Turbo the stock motor, Just go the easy way and buy a peakboost kit. Has a t3/t04 turbo I think. Doesn't matter what psi, as long as you have it tuned good and you stay around 250-300 whp. You will be golden.

8 psi would be good i wouldnt go over it if so youll need a new intakemainfold bigger injectors n a block gaurd with 8 psi you should be in the 250-275 hp range !
