Appears to be a very healthy H22.

so i guess the intec racing dyno doesnt read that high after all. with the esp header, it puts down 204 on that same dyno. is it that the other motor is better and this is weaker, or was it because it was on a different day, or does the esp header really give those nice gains??

here is their chart again...hmm both put down 180's before the header...

Very clean install and pretty strong motor! Thanks for sharing. you might want to go to the FAQ and put your dyno in the official Dyno thread.

oh did they say that? i was following the threads bout the esp header but i guess i missed that. anyway, what was the 184whp run done with? race gas and all of the mods except for the header? and then added the new header with all of the same previous mods and then got 204?

dude I dont know about what you're seeing, but those numbers look very very high for an h22 with just an intake and an ebay header w/a 2" collector. He "should" be making about 10 less. The numbers don't mean crap anyways, just the difference btw the two curves.

Either way, what really does matter is the difference in the before and after tuning lines, which is substantial, they did a great job tuning it. The car looks great man

well not really to compare 2 different dynos (although i cant help it) but yea i put down 178whp with pretty much i/e/dc header/p/no egr or balance shaft belt/no tuning. on the same dyno i was on, a type r motor with jun cams put down 187. sure it was on different days, but my run was in the summer and his was in the winter (i kno they have correction factors, but i doubt that they are 100% accurate). so what im getting at is that i think it is possible for a bolt-on h22 to put down 175ish and then into the 180s with tuning.

also ur brother put down 192whp? i think it was...with i/e/greddy header with 2.5 in collector and tuning right? do u think thats a bit high as well?

Very nice! Great looking car. A set of better wheels would make a world of difference on it. I had a red 3rd gen just like that one. Loved it.
