i just baught a b18c (jdm gsr motor) . with 53k miles on it..i want to build a semi-build motor, not an all out drag car..i know about basic bolt on (ie; headers intake, intake mani, cams gears) my question is....WHAT WOULD BE A GOOD SETUP? LIKE WHAT WILL WORK? and still be streetable? NEED HELP im a STRAIGHT UP NOOBIE...please help..i dont know sh*t about building an all motor setup..

That's the miracle of VTEC. You have large cam lobes that can make the engine run like a bat out of hell, but still have small cam lobes while under ~4K rpms to keep the car streetable.

Search the forum and look at other setups, there must be thousands at your fingertips, with dynos, and video clips, its all there.

 

final numbers ended up being 225/155 on my old daily driven GSR motor in my teg.
