ok from my post yesterday I was running my car warm off the highway and then i had my buddy drive it it and as soon as vtec came on white smoke, a good ammount of it, but only when vtec came on, so we let it sit over night and fired it up, and woah and behold smokeing right off the bat at idle pulled out of the lot and just chillin at 2-3k rpm it was smokeing, very unlike yesterday when it only smoked when vtec came on, whats this sound like to u guys oil leaking into the cylinder from above, in the head hua??? valve seals?

 

thats what it sounds like ut if it was oil leaking then it would be bluish. white smoke is coolant. look at the exhaust tip and see if it is wet and run your finger around it and see if it is coolant or oil smell

 

Yup, definently sounds like a coolant issue.

 

well coolant is not mixing with the oil, and i think it is oil that is burning, b/c i dont smell coolant, just smells like real strong exhaust and reallllllllly black on the exhaust. if it was coolant, head gasket ???

 

if it's the coolent it's probably the head gasket. But you said it was white smoke, not black, if it's black that's closer to blue and it's probably an oil issue.
