got a question if you work at a dealership....
So im ordering a new SI but there's a few things that I want to clear up. First off I live in Colorado. In colorado they have the front liscense plates, however I am in the military so legally my residence is in kentucky where there is no requirement for the front liscense tag. My question is can I get it written into the sale somewhere that when they get the vehicle in the dealership wont drill holes into my new bumper to mount a tag that I wont have since I will be registering my car in KY? Also can i get them to agree to not put their gay logo on my new paint?
THose of you that work at a dealership can you clear these things up? Are they gonna give me all kinds of grief about this or will it be no problem?

just tell them not to put the logo on and they wont. if they do, make them remove it.
the front license plate bracket is designed to attach without drilling holes in the bumper. although some places still will. tell them not to before its too late, if they do not obey your wishes, well they are gonna replace it.
dont be afraid to TELL not ask, its YOUR car

i think you can ask them. there should be no problem. all they want is the sale. they'll do almost anything just to get you to finnaly sign it. the dealership removed all my emblems/stickers

As others mentioned, tell them you do NOT want the front plate mounted and not to put any dealer stickers/tags or pinstripes on. Youre spending a nice chunk of change on your brand new car so take control and dont let them dick you around

Funny story...
My friend bought a TC (yeah, I know) about a year ago and THE FIRST THING HE TOLD THE DEALERSHIP was that he didn't want any holes drilled into his front bumper for a new license plate. Then he upgraded tail lights and a few other things. He had it all installed the next day, and guess what? They drilled his front license plate in. Oh man he was pissed and I think he made them replace his bumper

This makes no sense at all. The plate bracket holds on fine with the two bolts or screws at the bottom. Theres no need to drill another hole.
