good Clutch for allmotor??? exedy, clutchmaster, act...etc....
I'm pretty sure i want to put a different clutch in my car, i have a stage four clutch in it and its way too much.... its not good for a DD... what clutch do you recommend.. im thinking like a stage 2 exedy... let me know what you have and if your happy with it....
LOL you got enough clutch for a 350wtq full turbo setup!
for a all motor car a good setup is a full face with a HD pressure plate
it will grip good and feel like stock
I went with a 6 puck and HD plate, it grips good and isnt too bad in traffic but my next clutch will be back to a full face with HD PP... these motors dont make much more torque over stock

I have a ACT prolite flywheel, with a stage 3 clutch, and a HDSS pressure plate. I could not be more happy with it, feels great and has never slipped on me.
I use an ACT extreme pressure plate with a 6 puck unsprung hub. It's overkill at the moment but I am so used to them from my turbo cars that I just keep using them because I think it will take the amount of nitrous I plan to throw at it very soon.

Been using an Exedy 'lightweight' sprung 3puck and Fidanza Flywheel since early 2005 and havn't had any problems. Grips excellent, and the entire assembly is almost half the weight of stock.

Stage 1 sprung hub street disc is rated at 310tq. Amazing quality for the price. After 3 years of abuse the disc looks brand new and all of the springs are still tight

bumping this instead of making a new thread... it looks like my clutch is on the way out. I'm looking for a good replacement, but I'm also possibly boosting my car in the near future. I make about 170 whp right now, but with boost might be up near 300-ish and I don't want to waste money and time doing a clutch twice. Is there a setup out there (clutch and flywheel) that covers this whp range? I need something streetable too as I DD in traffic.

I was making around 225whp on my all motor setup,i was using the exedy stage 2,3 puck sprung hub and it lasted about 4,000 miles and about 15 runs down the track with slicks on, it started to slip and i pulled it out and the disc was cracked in half and the puck material was mostly gone, But now im using the competition clutch twin disc, the best $1050 spent, and the clutch is great... if you dont want to go this route your probably purchase many clutches in the future which will end up costing you more than a twin disc. Your call...
