i just finish replacing the cable now my hood wont line up need advice on how to line up?

 

i loosen the three or four hood latch bolts and slowly lower the hood until i see where the pin wants to fall in place. I then use a slotted screwdriver and move the latch in the direction of where the pin wants to fall in place and then once linged up i close the hood. You may have to repeat this step a few times until the hood is able to close without any issues.

 

got my cables and hood latch to line now it wont lock
