Did you guys see this Dyno
could just be a ploy to make Spoon look like a terrible company. I know that I dynoed at 178 with just I/H(usdm)/no ps belt. So i seriously doubt that Spoon chart is legit. I guess anything is possible though.
maybe the motor in the spoon graph wasn't tuned or tuned properly.
it just looks like all the parts were just dropped in running stock ecu.

I swear I would have achieved 240 WHP instead of my present 220 WHP if I had a stock ITR rad cap instead of a Spoon one...

gee, someone said just the other day you were making 250
But I swear I would have got 250 WHP if I took out that Spoon magnetic drain plug and that Spoon rad cap of mine...
lolEverything's achievable...
sorry but i dont see 240 crank hp out of just a 1mm over piston and port and polished head and hondata.and it looks like to me that the stock cams didnt start dieing until 8500 they should have started to die around 8200 the blue line should have tarted to drop there.now let me ask you this why would you buy a skunk2 manafold when the R and the skunk have the same runners?Sorry i dont see it.The 240 hp should be the spoon motor looks more like it to me
Look at the side of each dyno chart...One says "SAE corrected" and the other says "Actual"...If I'm not mistaken, SAE is a "corrected" horsepower rating, which would make the numbers seem low, or, corrected. I bet if the first dyno chart with the Hondata unit and what have you were to be SAE corrected, it would be as low, if not lower than the SPOON equiped ITR. You also have to take into consideration if the SPOON equipped ITR were on larger rims which would rob the car of a proper reading. And one more thing, you see how on the last dyno chart how there is a gap in the reading? That would indicate either a misfire or he let off and never got back on the throttle...don't always jump to a conclusion because of one graph...it might not be one of the better runs of the car.
Bottom line, I doubt a company like SPOON would manufacture parts that do not add any benefit or horsepower.

Uhh, the top one is "Actual HP", while the second one is "SAE HP". Actual HP adds in the 10-15% frictional loss, while SAE is a truer "at-the-wheels" measurement.
