I hate this car - only place it's driving me to is DRINK
92 hatch CX
Last week the radiator blew up, replaced it.
3 days ago - Driving to a pub, engine stops running (as if the timing belt or distributor gave out).
Car still cranks, just won't start...checked timing belt, good condition.
Fuses in good shape.
Replaced distrib., complete with rotor and cap - still no start.
Fuel pump still pushin fluid like me in mexico.
Pulled ECU, throws CEL code 6 (Engine coolant temp. sensor) - replaced, got rid of the CEL code, now it just stays a solid CEL when the jumper's connected.
Still won't MFing start.
Somebody please tell me what completely obvious something I'm overlooking.

might want to check your main relay, a lot of times these go out, it seems like its all of what oyu stated, but its just the damn relay, its under your dash right on top of the hood release... check it out
Well, I'm working on this hunker all by my lonesome, so I can't pull a plug out and see, but in my head if the car has working fuses, dizzy is good, ECU is good, car cranks and has a functioning timing belt the car should have spark, unless its that little gray ignition box or whatever - but if that was the case, it should throw a code for it, no?
i dont think a code will show if the car wont start, but dont hold me to that. i just wanted to through the most obvious thing it could be that u havnt checked. did it sputter when it died or idle funny befor that or just completely shut off without warning
completely shut off...as i was barreling down the highway, i turned the ignition off, pulled the key out, and turned it back to the on position and dumped the clutch - just "whirred" down the road. So I put it in neutral and drifted as far as possible (got within a half mile of said pub!)
i agree with the other guy then it could be that relay. if it were mechanical it would usualy sputter out in some way. atleast u got close to the pub though. hopefully u picked up as many chicks as possable, then told them they had to push for a good night!!

negative, car will still pull codes if it wont start, just need power to light the dash up.
OP, you have PM.
