You have to recess the intercooler far back enough and it will work. I work with a guy that has an 99 EK and is turbo and he kept his Foglights.

just put the fog light on the hood or on a push bar ralley style i think they should fit because the 96-98 have square fogs 99-00 have them on the side intake scoop thingys. i say it does fit if not FTW and give me those fogs, or turbo set up. i rather have a turbo set up than fog lights any ways.

they fit, but you need an intercooler with endtanks on the bottom and run smaller diameter piping, so it can go under the fogs. you also have to cut the bracket/remove it. ive also heard of people flipping the IC upside down and running the piping over the foglight, but never seen it

TWhat did you end up doing can't figure what the best think 2 do don't wana get a smaller intercooler I think flipping the intercooler is too much bs to many angles with the piping

I have seen it done you just need to play with the piping a bit.

I wanted to do this with my hatch, but never could figure out a way to get the huge *** FMIC back far enough to get the square fogs in the opening.

A buddy of mine used an intercooler with the endtank openings offset at the bottom. He flipped it upside done so the openings were at the top and then he used smaller piping.
