Default Is this the correct mount???

I'm swapping first gen b16a into a 95 civic. The mount does not seem to be big enough for the mounting bracket. The engine aslo seems to be sitting crooked. The driverside is closer to the firewall. Since this mount isn't working correctly, which one should i use. This one is off of a 90 integra ls. The newer gsr mount won't work because it doesn't have the slanted bolt holes. Should i use the gsr mount and change the bracket that goes from the mount to the block?? Please help. Thanks.

Use a stock b16 mount. From a del sol vtec I think...I have a GSR motor in a 95 DX and I just used the stock GSR mount...for a b16 it's either gonna be the stock gsr mount or the stock b16 delsol vtec mount, or they might be the same thing, who knows..

the reason the gap is so big is because you have the wrong mount and mount bracket. ok heres what you need to do. get the mount and mount bracket from a 94-teg or sol/SI with b16a.....if the mount you have is from a 90 teg ls then the mount bracket is from the same thing thats why it has slanted studs.
i have a mount and mount bracket from my 98 gsr swap that was in my 93 si. if you want them ill give them to you for $65 shipped for both. i bought the mount from sohfast when i was doing the swap and drove less than 20miles with the car then decided i didnt want to finish the project and bought something else.

you can use the stock civic mount....but in order to use the cable tranny and mount, you need to cut and reposition the bracket on the chassis....then weld it in place again...

why not just get the new mount kit from hasport? it let's you mount the first gen motors in 5gen civics with no problems

I'm using the 00 si tranny. Do I need a special mount or can I use the one that was on my ex engine. That is what I have on there now and i didn't reposition the mounting bracket on the chassis. Thanks again.
