Was wondering if the H22 motor would work with an F23 transmission. I have a 98 Accord 2.3L and I'm doing an automatic to manual swap right now, but I want to do the H22 swap soon...might be easier to just get the engine - if that would work.

H22 ECU and engine, however, you're going to hate those long *** gears. Only time they'll come in handy is long highway trips. 80mph @3k

 

So I should just go for the whole swap instead?

 

If you've got the money. At least get the H23 transmission (M2S4)

 

i didn't think getting an entire swap was an option for you but if it was me i would go with a full swap from h motors with an LSD tranny. it will be much more satisfying for you in the end.

I agree with that.... H22 plus LSD would be nice..
