Default driver side power window switch not working help

My 92 Integra has 220,000 on the chassis and one day all the sudden the driver side power window switchs quit working. The passenger side still works so I bought a new switch and I have the same problem. My dad say the passenger side door has a closed loop circuit over to the driver side window cicuit, which has an open loop because if it was the other way around the passenger wouldn't be able to open their window because the circuit would start on the drivers side.

Any one ever have this problem, or any Ideas please help, its gettin nice out and I wanna hear my pipes. thanx
this sucks

i dont know if i quite understand..so the driver window switches dont work for either of the two windows? or just the driver window?..it could be a number of things. try using a test light and see if the switch or motor gets power.

yes, if the passenger side still works, test the motor and see if its getting power. if you have a power probe you can jump power to the motor and see if it works. if it doesnt work when you jump power to it the motor is bad. on newer cars the window regulator and motor come as one piece but im not sure on older cars. also i know on older hondas the cables in the regulator fray and snap with age and use. if its designed with the cables and they broke it will do the same thing because the window will not be able to move.
