Smoking intake manifold?? HELP QUICK!
Just as the title says, there is smoke coming from my intake manifold. I let the car run for a while and it was just sitting at idle and i could here it missing just a little bit then it choked out and died then i looked and there was smoke coming from my throttle body. What would cause this? Head gasket??

Usually youll see smoke out of the intake when your car is missing really bad. That could be due to bad ignitor, ignition coil, distributor, spark plugs, spark plug wires and timing belt. Usually the car wont run good when you see smoke out the wrong end.
Well i just replaced the plugs and the pcv valve but i havent tried starting it again yet. Im hoping that might help.
Otherwise thats what i was thinking was rings or bad valve seals.

Well i still dont know exactly what caused it but i changed my plugs, adjusted my valve lash and replaced the pcv valve and it runs fine now.
