17s can look good although most people will say they dont look that great. kinda depends on the wheel.
16s are what most people run if they go "bigger". 16s are definitely your best bet.

side note: when searching search archives and in this case the appearance threads

I've got 16" Kosei's with 215/45R16 (had Kumho now Toyo) tires. Never had a problem with it looking ridiculas. Not to mention having a not as low profile keeps the cost of tires down, and wider selection too. I didn't really lower my CRX that much either. http://www.geocities.com/worrgame13/crxpage.html if you want to see what they look like.

personally i would go 17s. i have 17s but my stance doesn't make them look big so its all what your opinion is. are you going for a race setup or for looks?

17s are to big in my opinion and look disporportionate to such a small car. Also, if your runnin stock its a lot harder turnin 17s in a 100 hp car than it is 15s

go with 15's or 16's.....almost all EF's look good with 15's some look good with 16's, depending on what wheel it is. Not to many look good with 17's

I prefer 16s, but 15s look good, too.

Do you guys run 40 or 45 series on 16s?

I'm running 16's with 40 series tires right now, but my rims have a polished lip that kindof hides the size a little bit. Personally, i'd say 17's are much too big. Im going to 15's and 50 series tires.

15s or 16s in my opinon. some of the european guys have pulled off 17s, but then their autobahns are in a lot better shape then ours. they also have the jdm, edm front end with a lip that helps make it look good.

well the build depends on the size, auto-x would be a smaller rim on a fatter tire, but personally i like 16's on a low pro tire, 17's are just to much

Im telling you I said 15 or else you will learn the hard way...seriously dont be an idiot and look at who is telling you 17...16 maybe you could get but why? 15 is perfect balance of weight, diameter, and width...

I'm running 17"s and I didn't notice any diff. in acceleration at all. I did notice the handling is much better and they don't scrub at all. I'm also lowered 2" and they fit nice.

17's are way too big & really not safe in a crx
