No one is gonna help you with that attitude, besides there arent that many 3rd gen guys here. I mean, I could tell you it's the right one if thats what you wanna hear, but judging by the listing... I'd say its the right one.

awww i'm too scared to try things out and need strangers from HT to help me waaaaaaaa waaaaaaa

how are we to know thats the right clutch for you? i'm sure most ppl just saw 89 SI and well the listing is for a 3rd gen so you can pretty much safely agree its the "right" clutch for you.

if you don't trust the ebay seller, well then don't buy from him and a real website.

maybe those other guys need to know the part numbers off the top of their heads because they can't just to go majestic honda / honda parts online / san leanardo honda websites that have the honda part numbers for you?

i think you have a skewed pov of forums. you can ask questions alright, just be sure to be ready for remarks like mine when its a grade school level question

you need to just sell your prelude and go back to the civic forum where everyone can tell you the part numbers because everyone in the civic forum has to replace their **** all the time!

so its simple...sell your prelude, and get ANOTHER civic since you are the "rich" one and can afford 4 cars!

have a great day and thanks for using honda-tech.com

this topic shouldnt have even been made!!! you moron! The topic in the thread says its for the car you say you have...therefore why would you need to post a topic asking if it were the right one?

Thats like going into a T-Mobile store, looking at the phones and then asking "Will these work with T-Mobile?"

Like I told you before, Sell the prelude and get you another civic so everyone that has already bought 14352 replacement parts can help you out and give you part numbers they have memorized so you dont have to look stuff up for yourself!

So did the clutch fix it?

Seriously... buddy if the ad says it's for an 89 prelude... and you have an 89 prelude... what do you need to ask for? I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt when I say I don't think you're stupid. You have fingers and know how to use a computer, as I can see. Would it be so hard to look up the part number yourself? In the time you were waiting for a response i'm SURE you could've found the answer yourself. But I digress... have you fixed the problem?
