ok, I just ordered some jdm red recaros and I have been told that they will fade to PINK! Will this fading really make a noticable difference? Is there any way to prevent it if it does occur? The car will be a daily driver, so it will be in the sun just as much as the next car. thanx in advance.

get some legal tint...that should help a lot

 

tint is really not an option for me....it is not for me....but I guess it is a small price to pay for some red seats instead of pink ones....Any other suggestions or comments????

They will fade to pink if they are fake. or the US SRD material.

 

couldn't you use some red coloring?? like the one you use with cloth?

i don't know? just an idea?

 

well, i ordered the real deal...so if the real deal don't fade I have nothing to worry about??? and I was also thinking that just some dye would fix the problem if it did occur....not sure though.
