Default Alternator Help please

Hi Guys,

I bought this alternator from baranco

31100-P73-A01RM ALTERNATOR ASSY. (RMD) 1 2000 INTEGRA

I have a 2000 b18c7 (australia type R) and got this replaced but there was an issue... the green plug to plug into the the back of the new alternator is different to my original one... so the auto electrician has altered it to fit with a new plug but now hes also saying that the computer needs to be fixed because the new alternator was for a prelude!

i was like WTF... are you sure???

so just asking you guys... is this guy just pulling my leg or is he correct? is he reprogramming my ecu or something?

Any thoughts guys? should I be worried?...

I would contact Len and cross reference the part numbers. See what you have and go from there.
