Default rattling tranny

recently,,,ive noticed that my tranny is making this loud rattling noise..

its didnt do that before..
when i push on the clutch, the noise starts to disappear...
but once i let off the clutch, the noise coming back...

anyone know whats up with my tranny?

could it be the clutch/flywheel?

the input shaft bearing goes bad on alot of d series civics. they have the same symptoms you describe. just a thought.

yeah input shaft bearing is bad. you have to pull the tranny to replace it so i could just replace the clutch and flywheel while in there if i were you unless it was recently done .

Sounds like the input shaft bearing. That would be the first thing to check (assuming it is the transmission).
