Default Passenger ridealongs at the EXPO?

Will passenger ridealongs be allowed at this EXPO? They were allowed at EXPO 1. Many people took advantage of the ability to ride along....including lots of people who weren't registered to drive.

At EXPO 1, they charged a flat fee of $10 to people who were not registered as drivers, who wanted to do ridealongs.

If we could do this at EXPO 2 this weekend, perhaps we could give the money earned to Wes and Clayton as thanks for the hard work they put into organizing this event. It may not be much money, but I think these 2 are only getting grief and forehead wrinkles as reward for organizing this thing for us as of now.

What do you all think?

At the events that I have been at before...

Permitted:
-rides with instructors
-rides with advanced students after approval

Saftey must be a main concern...

Taking a friend out to show them the track at speed may =

As long as the passengers have helmets, proper seat belts/harnesses, etc., I don't see why there would be any reason NOT to allow passenger ride-alongs. But maybe Gingerman has rules against it?.....

I know buttonwillow had no rules against it, and anyone could take along a front seat passenger (if they didn't already have an instructor sitting in the seat).

The people at EXPO 1 were very responsible. The ridealongs caused no problems.

I was at Gingerman last night and had a couple ladies come out to visit me. I borrowed an extra helmet and they each took a turn, the track owners just asked them to sign a waiver first, that's all.

There's been no problems doing this every time I've been there.

I've asked about this, and passengers can ride along with advanced students or instructors.

Yea Im sure it will be run like every other CGI Event Ive been too (though this will probably be the last). Where Advanced Students can take passengers and instructors can as well.

Actually I think CGI is taking all of us for a ride

payment for ridelongs that were NOT registered to drive. Perhaps mine was "voluntary".....as a way to help offset the pile of change someone dropped on EXPO to make sure everything was paid for at the 11th hour...

Damn it, its beautiful outside and I'm "stuck" in the Office ... anticipating a gerat road trip and track event.
This my own little version of hell, and my own fault for being so behind "on the job".

Maybe I should go home to see if the jack was delivered, pack, sort out the tools, check the oil and just get out of Ground Zero!

haha .. he's not in today, and it's even my "day off,
" ... but I told him I'd have this bit of stuff done before I left.

I'll go finish packing, come back here and work till ...?
... and then leave when the streets are deserted and the Holiday traffic lightens up!!

And, wake up in Ohio at my Mom's for breakfast.
