Default Wheel well stripping.. please help

Well on my prelude(and I believe most hondas), I have a black rubber strip lining my wheel well, probably positioned to prevent rust. Well I could tell it was rusting underneath a little bit so I removed it because it was probably speeding the rusting. I removed the other side very easily a long time ago, the glue just peeled off. This time the glue is hard and nearly cemented to the car. My quesion is does anyone know how I can remove this really tough glue? I tried goo-be-gone but no luck....
