Default b18b into a prelude

My friend wants to rebuild his h23 motor. He as a b18 b on the side and wanted to know if he could bolt the b18b motor on a h series tranny. sounds crazy but he needs a car to drive to work. so if anyone knows if this is possible let me know.

Thanks!

If he REALLY wanted to, yeah he could.. He would need custom mounts for the B-Series Engine. Plus probably more custom parts/items/jobs. Like wiring... The B-Series Engine isn't meant to be in a Prelude... To me, it's not worth it, but if he wants to spend the money...
It would be cheaper to buy another H23 to drop in while rebuilding his, or to just have it rebuilt and keep his in the car..

[Edit: Dang, writing this I kept getting things confused.. Bah! I said he would have to get the H2B Adapter plate, but this is for an H-Series Engine and B-Series Tranny. But he wants a B-Series Engine + H-Series Tranny.

Then no, he couldn't do this without a custom Tranny Plate and other stuff... Completely not worth it... ]

True. An h23 is basically an LS motor, except more badass.

more like an H22, except less badass. The B and H motors wern't made to be together inside a Prelude body. stick to rebuilding the H23 or just go out and get the H22. Trying to mate a B and H is too much of a headache, and not to mention slow as hell... in a Prelude
