Default weird fuel pressure problem... 0psi during prime, 40psi at idle

boosted stock y8
stock fpr/rail, dsm 450's, walbro 255 intake

i noticed that now when i prime the motor the fuel gauge shows 0psi
when i start the car it shows and stays at 40psi
i pull the vacuum line from the stock fpr and it raises to 50-51psi
so this leads me to think that the fpr is ok right?
when i shut off the car the fuel pressure drops instantly

i remember before i would prime the fuel system and it would hold at 40psi, and when i shut off the motor it would hold fuel pressure at 40psi for some time before going down

i asked another friend he was saying it has to do wi the walbro fuel pump and the return valve
my friend suggested i should replace the pump, but alot of other ppl i have talked to with walbro;s have the same problem and they just ignore it

since i own a crx i really dont want to drop the tank to get to the pump, but at the same time will this cause a problem holding stable fuel pressure under boost?

thanx for everyones help
