Default time to replace clutch?

When I'm on a neutral going into first gear, it makes a noice like clutch is slipping. Is this sign for a new clutch?

There is a noise for a clutch when it slips? Describe this noise.

I don't think clutches make noise when they slip I remember when it took me 3-4k rev's to get the car to start from a stop. Thats slippage!

wow.. mine isn't that bad yet. I start at 2k and the car starts moving but it makes this weird noise like two metals gently scratching.... So what is the sign of changing a clutch?

no. if you're just putting it in first gear from neutral, that's not going to be the clutch.
