Default Coilovers for EK question....

What would be a good choice for coilovers on an EK hatch? I had decided on Koni's since they have an awesome track record, but I don't really know much about Japanese coilovers and obviously they race Civics more than a German company. I'm looking to spend about a grand, and don't want something I have to keep constantly lubed up like the Teins. Any other good choices? Apexi makes one for about $900; are they decent? Any help is appreciated. Later.

if a grand is your ceiling you may be S.O.L. for a nice JDM setup.

apexi
buddyclub
tein
zeal
mugen
spoon
toda/fightex
JIC magic
there are more too, but they are harder to find and of course more expensive since they are sold in lesser volume.

I have Konis and Ground Controls and they are much more than I can master right now. why spend money on the ultimate if you cant even drive well enough to take advantage of it? like Zeal super function... mmmmmmm

I only wanted to spend about a grand, but it isn't my ceiling. I just wanted to find something that performed well on the street and track since I will be autocrossing. Nothing too wild or race-only. Oh, and adjustability is a must. Thanks for the help, peeps.
