How to install stainless steel brake lines w/o introducing air in the system?
What methods do you guys have for installing SS brake lines while minimizing the amount of air you introduce into the braking system?

having worked on Hondas from back east where the salt is pretty severe and project cars came cheap due to being neglected - situations like this demand your favorite rust penetrator.
For your particular situation, try using vise grips first... cinch it down nice and tight and make it so it is VERY difficult to lock the vise grips... then turn to loosen. It should "pop."
If this doesn't work and you end up mangling it even more (you've got weak hands
), I've only had one case where this DID NOT work for me, I just cut the hardline, inserted new hardware and re-flared the line.
went to my local home depot, bought the flaring tool for 30 or 40bux cad, and promptly returned it the next day, declaring I found the one I "lost" in my toolbox
OP: once you take off the brake line, prepare to bleed the entire system.

it seems like i stripped the #11 bolt. that goes to the abs
i was thinking to get that part from dealer.

Go get yourself some quality line wrenches and be careful. There is absolutely NO way to do this without completely bleeeding the brakes. Be careful using vice grips if your are an oversized guy, I've SEEN someone crush the nut

i have never stripped any nuts using proper box end wrenches. Don't use regular wrenches.
I have ripped the hard line when the fitting was rusted to the hard line
Now that sucks

Been very happy with the quality and fitment as well as the price to the point where I got most of my friends to start using them as well
Don't forget to order the clutch hose line too
http://www.raceshopper.com/tec...shtml
Free shipping is always available, as their offer never seems to end
EDIT: Upon inspection, it doesn't appear they offer the clutch hose line no more...maybe they just don't list it... and you have to call to order it
