I have my parents 2000 Odyssey down in flordia for spring break, and the check engine light came on, which isnt a unusual thing, so i checked the gas cap and it usually goes off after a few trips out. But then the TCS (traction control system) indicator light came on, and has come on everytime we take the car out. The book isnt much help, anyone know any cause for this? and if I should get it checked out by honda or if it'll be okay to drive back to connecticut at the end of the week...

When the TCS and CEL came lit up at the same time on my wife's 01 van it was a sign that the tranny was failing for the second time. Hit up the local auto parts store for a free code check. Good luck.
