i was in an accedent in my 98 prelude. and the key is stuck in the igniton and my alarm on my stock radio, and i was wondering if i pop the hood will my alarm go off. i have know way of getting the key out so i can take out my mods.

 

popping the hood shouldnt set it off if its factory.

Yeah, I can't imagine how or why they would rig up a sensor to tell if the hood is open or not...they're no electronics there stock.

why would you put your alarm on after a wreck anyway? sorry to hear about your car man. is your insurance covering this?

 

Just pop the hood, if it goes off disconnect the battery..
