hey i messed up! i just bought a four folding mirrors but i have a two door integra. what can i do so they will work. or am i better off just selling them.
WRONG. do not listen to those people. the ONLY difference is the trianglular base that mounts to the door.
I am assuming you are talking about the JDM powered folding mirrors that fold automatically by a push of a button.
if you are savy with tools you can do this.
All you gotta do is swap plastic housings with your stock mirrors. it is the folding mechanism and motor that you want to keep.
the hardest part is de-pinning the harness. I suggest if you draw a diagram of what pin goes where (write what color the wire is)
then de-pin the harness. the reason you have to do this is that the plug is too big to go thru the small hole in the mirror housing.
Remove the mirror glass itself. then you will see some screws that screw the two halves of the mirror housing together. remove the screws under the mirror hinge.
then you will see the folding mechanism is held only by the wire. hence why you need to depin the harness to get the wires out. then reverse everything but use your stock mirror plastic instead. this will save you money and time from having to paint the mirrors as well.

uh...how are we wrong...they aren't interchangeable without all that work you just said but it would be much easier for OP just to buy a set made for 2 doors and sell to someone who needs 4-door mirrors instead of repinning the harness, etc.

why its not nearly as hard as you people think. unless you are lazy. it isnt time consuming nor does it require a lot of effort.
but then again some people dont even do their own brake jobs. And I know one guy who doesnt even change his own oil. so to each their own.
