Maybe I'm wrong, but I'm about to bid on this and I noticed the door moldings. I thought those were not put on the CX's and VX's? Is this a DX?

Its a DX the side MOLDING was optinal on a CX but the CX does not come with a passanger mirroe or rear windshield wiper. It might be a CX if he had that put on.

 

I changed my mind it is a CX cause i took a better look at the rear windshiel wiperand i cant see it, i just seen that box and thats what made me think it was not aa dx, so yea its a CX.

 

CX.....Yeah i think you could get the side moldings optinal. And yea no rear wiper seen. Also look at the headrests on the seats they look like pleather aka vinyl SO i say its a CX

cx, if you look closely you'll notice that the rear glass window does not have the wipers..... good luck on your bid...also, some cx's come with passenger mirrors but not moldings

 

strange indeed. my money is on it NOT being a CX. because the body panels on the other models have holes in them for the moulding, it is not as simple as just sticking on a side moulding on a cx. th epanels are different at the factory.

looks clean though even at $2000 it would be a great deal. GO FOR IT!

If you could get this for $1500, it would be a steal.
I got my '92 CX for $3,500.

I say this is NOT a CX.

 

my 92 CX came with a passengers side mirror
And dealer installed side molding!
When I pulled off the moldings to shave the holes you could tell they used
a dull drill bit It looks bad

 

my 92 CX has a passenger side mirror, but no side molding or rear wiper.

 

 

yup, its a cx. My 95 cx came w/ no side moldings, no radio or spakers, no rear wiper, but it had both side view mirrors and cloth seats. I drove 7hrs to memphis and paid $2000 for it. 150,000 miles and a perfect body.

 

its 10 years old and has one entry in the carfax. kinda rare to find a 92 CX from the original owner!
