im building a z6 n i m gonig 2 order a new oil pump, will the d17 oil pump give me added advantages over the stock z6 one?

i have a y8 built head, do i order a y8 timing belt, water pump, tensioner, bold n spring 4 the y8 or the z6?

4 about 450hp will new oem piston rings hold on je pistons?

Its unlikely... there doesnt seem to be anything about it (or anything else in that motor) that makes it any better than any of the other ones, but I have one here that I messed up the mating surface on trying to pry it off the block, so its useless, but if you want it for R&D, IM me...

4 about 450hp will new oem piston rings hold on je pistons? likely, ive seen 375 even on stock pistons. but how do you plan on getting 450hp on a z6?</TD></TR></TABLE>

 

well thnx, but wut water pump timin belt n tensioner combo do i go with? and wut head stuff do i need, like a coolant elbow or w/e i need 2 kno all of it!

 

use what ever the head is.

if its a z6 use z6 belt and camgear if it's a y8 use the y8

I dont believe the tensioner and water pump matter
