I had that setup with type r cams in my hatch and it put down 185whp. Its still running now with 3 years of abuse and stock ls rods and bolts.

it would be pretty nice.. just make sure you pick up a good LS block.. if your clearances arent within specs you won't be able to use those STD p30 pistons.. and make sure you hone the cylinder walls so you can get a proper seal when you put those new rings in.

you can get some pretty good results with LSvtecs.. just dynoed mine yesterday and came up with 218hp @ 138tq.. expecting mid 12s at the end of the month..

Use ARP rod bolts and have the big end of the rods resized.

Running a mild Lsvtec in a 93 hatch
Full interior

B16 head
ITR Cams
Blox intake
P30 pistons
DC 4-1
2.5" exhaust
Tuned on Crome

Best ET
14.068 @ 101.3 mph
2.35 60ft on $45 Kumho radials

From the mph I would estimate around 190HP
Haven't dynoed yet

Would be curious to others 1/4 times on street tires
