need to buy an alarm any advice

i need to buy an alarm but idont know whatkind i should buy my expenses are no more then 250bucks can u please help find a good ordecent car alarm

I've got an autopage in both of my honda's and thats all I install into my friends cars. Directed is good too, autopage just seems to be easier to come by around here.
I really dont recommend any of the "expensive" alarms found at car toys or similar. They arent any better, they just cost you a hell of alot more. When I bought my autopage, it was the top of the line model with the keychain pager, I believe I paid about $200 for it.
An alarm wont keep your car from getting stolen. It'll only protect you from half-assed high school punks looking for a joyride.
