Default vacuum hose routes, engine is stalling out.

I've been looking around going through what diagrams I could find, which all seem different. I'm getting stuck one thing in particular...

The hose going from fuel pressure regulator (stock) on b16 fuel rail....I've seen it on most all cars, (but not always in diagrams) that THAT hose goes to the port almost directly behind it on the intake manifold? Thats how it was hooked up, and ran like crap. RPMS were always low, almost to the point of stalling out. I pulled that hose off hooked it up to the purge sol (if thats what it is called) and it started right up, idles high like it should for warm up, and seemed fine.

I made up a diagram so its easier to know what im talking about here....

my red line is the one I'm referring to that i just changed and made it run good..

purple is what i was calling FPR

Blue one is the tab thats on the intake mani that right now just vents to the atmosphere

yellow X's are lines I no longer have, and couldnt be "Teed" because there IS no spot on the back of the manifold where a hose would go.

whatcha think

I forgot a pretty important part...

this is an OBD0 b16 into an 89 DX hatchback

Well just skimming i can tell yo one major problem...

The big port on the front of the intake mani you have the blue line to is a huge vaccum leak, thats why your car is running like ****...all the vac ports on the mani need to be plugged or have a vac line attached to them...

To help you out you need to run a hose from the blue port to the PCV valve in the intake mani right under the fuel rail between the runners...if you don't you are going to get owned by blow-by and say by by to your motor and hello to lots-O-smoke

Edit: if you have a few extra vac lines just loop them to each other so you don't have all those vac leaks
