misfire #1 and 2
I swapped a b18b into my integra today and it's throwing 2 codes, a cylinder 1 misfire and a cylinder 2 misfire. I figured it might be the dizzy timing so I adjusted it, reset the codes and it went away. Took the car out for a test run and the cel came back on. Havent checked the codes again but if it's the same resullt...what may be some other potential problems?
Low compression (bent valves, poorly adjusted valves, bad rings, etc.)
Poor spark (bad plug, bad plug wiure, bad rotor, bad cap, etc.)
Fuel (misfiring injector, clogged injector)

did you use the same intake manifold or the one with the swapped motor. what tends to happen alot is using the manifold, fuel rail, inj.'s that came with the swapped motor is how long it sat. try taking the injectors and apply good fuel to pintle and lightly press in on pintle a few times ( BE GENTLE) dont forget to replace the o-rings. i installed a vigor motor today and forgot to change the inj o-rings and fuel sprayed out of fuel rail like crazy. easy fix
Appreciate the advice it helped out a little bit; I changed the spark plugs and put wires in and it's still doing the same thing. Someone today told me that it could be the cap and rotor button so tomorrow morning i'll clean that off. Any other suggestions on what it could be?
