It is a very rare piece. It was originaly released at the Illiterate Crx Owners International Convention. ( I.C.O.I.C.) The part was given out by an unknown company for free and gauranteed to increase horsepower by 25%. The only catch was you had to send an e-mail to the company to report horsepower gains and over all satisfaction. It has been called many things in its time. But the part never took off because of the lack of feedback. Its a shame really. This part is nearly impossible to obtain.

this is sad, but also you guys should actually tell him some other common sense seeing that this topic is lacking it...please unplug all applicable sensors and any other lines, becuase if not you break something and say "well HT told me just to unbolt it"...anyways use common sense, where does it hook up to, and via what kind of fixtures & fastners...common sense FTW

Im telling you its impossible to find. None of the owners frequent honda-tech, or any other site. They never sell in the penny saver or classifieds. VERY RARE.

Who shall join my quest for common sense and uber-rare Illiterate CRX Club Parts?!

This is not tech!

But would it be technical if I talked about penetration? You need good penetrating lubricant to get those tough to turn parts out. Like Manifols.

Just remove it with a sledge hammer...I use it on everything in the car. Keep swinging until it comes off.

To the original poster: why are you taking off the intake manifold? upgrading? replacing gfasket?

you will need to unclip all of the sensors on the manifold, take off your intake, if youre taking the fuel rail and injectors with it, youll need to relieve fuel pressure. you will also have to disconnect the throttle cable.

the absolute best thing you can do is to buy a repair manual for your car, helms for example. it will give you step by step instructions for everything on your car.

most things can be done with simple hand tools.

enjoy your honda.
