Possible to make an o2 bung myself??
i have the jdm 4-1 and a carsound cat sitting in my room and have been for the past month. i dont wanna pay a shop to do this but i might have to. the header install would be no problem, my highflow cat needs flanges welded on, and also needs an o2 bung. the cat is 2.5 in/out. id like to just have flanges welded on ready for me to just bolt everything right up. how much longer is the jdm 4-1 opposed to the usdm gsr?
long story short...id like to have the cat bolted (or welded )to the header so i can just bolt the whole thing up to my apexi n1.
how difficult do you think it would be for me to make an 02bung in my cat with my dremel tool?
id post in integra forum but the R forum is faster and seems like more intelligent people
TIA!

Just buy a spark plug saver from your local Autozone or PepBoys. It's a threaded sleeve that you can trim down and weld it to your cat. It'll cost you 2 bucks and about 5-10 bucks for the weld job. Just take your cat and the bung to the muffler shop and let them do the work. make sure you properly mark the area so the o2 sensor clears the shiftlinkage and heat shields. Jack the car up and eyeball everything before you have it done.
save your time and headache and bring it to a muffler shop, let them do the whole install, prolly run $50-$80
but anyhow is this what your looking for? http://jdmhondaparts.com/images/02bunge_1a.jpg
