2001 Prelude no heat!!! Please Help!
A few weeks ago my heater stopped working on the low settings. When I would switch to the highest setting i could hear a damper close/open and heat would start coming out. 3 days ago it stopped all together. I originally thought it was the cabin filters being clogged not allowing enough suction, so I changed those and still no heat. I assume that it is the blend air door, but how do I get to it to change/fix it? Or how do I troubleshoot that it is the door? Are there any other causes that would cause similar symptoms? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated, especially since it's still freezing outside.
Under the passenger side dash there are controls that control the heat/cold and are operated by cable. It is very possible some kicked off the cable, which is what happened to me. Just slip the cable over the plastic lever where it belongs. If may be difficult to spot at first, but I think its white.
If this is the problem your temp. (blue, red) slider switch feels a little too easy ...to slide.
Good luck and report back and let me know if this was the problem. I just got a feeling.

i think your problem is coming from a heater motor going bad
because it doesn't make sense for you to turn the fan on high and then have heat.
if that happens you always had heat just probably couldn't feel it
