Heater Control Dash Problem Please Help

Default Heater Control Dash Problem Please Help

the hot and cold switch on this. I was moving the switch from cold to hot and it like got stuck and it felt like somthin broke now only the cold side works. when i put it on hot no heat comes out. Would this be maybe the cable disconnected. Please help. LEt me know if this is an easy fix or what. THanks

Also the lights in this part keep goin out and i hit it and usually it comes back on how would i change the bulbs?

Yes, definitely check whether the cable has come loose near the left foot of a front passenger.

do you have a diagram to remove this center piece. Can i just re attach teh cable or somthin?

In diagram, did you check the cabin side or engine firewall side?

ye its on the heater control valve. i just replaced the valve like within a month ago it started leaking.

i went to move the hot/cold **** to hot and moved it back and it got real tight now its really loose. it only blows cool air now no heat. and winter is around the cornor.

Read my posts carefully. Did you check the cable on the cabin side. See step 2 in diagram.

no i didnt i only checked the firewall side. How do i get to the cable?

ok, all it says is from under the dash how do i get to the cable? do i have to remove stuff?

Does the air mix control arm move when you slide the temp lever in the heater control panel right and left?

Grab hold of the cable, pull it toward the firewall to create tension, and move the temp lever back and forth. Do you feel the cable move at all?

theres like too much cable when i move the switch back and forth i dont even see where the cable is attached to move at all

Is the cable correctly attached in step 2. Post a picture.

Remove the heater control panel and inspect it where the cable connects.
