It will work, i have the y8 on my d16z6. Can someone verify that the clutch for the z6 and y8 are the same?

you should be able to swap the tranny without major probs since most d-series parts are interchangable. and the y8 has steel shifter forks as the z6 is aluminum, also i believe that gears are closer on the y8 so it would be a nice upgrade with your z6 motor.

i believe that the clutch will fit, i know that the exedy clutch fits for 91-00 d-series trannies. (ref: http://www.superhonda.com/foru....html)
