So I finally purchased a new radio for my ITR. I wanted an Amber color deck, but finally realized I wasn't going to be able to do that with any of my choices.
I thought, well that's fine, I will just replace the LEDs to get the desired color. No big deal, except these LEDs on this radio are Micro.
Has anyone replace the super tiny square-ish/retangular-ish surface mount LEDs on the face of a deck?
Has anyone used filtering film to get the desired effect? I believe this would be waaaaaaay easier to do than to remove the microLEDs.
If anyone has any insight to my dilemma, please respond. I would really like to tackle this little job. THANKS!
p.s. I can have pictures later this evening if anyone wants more to see.

That's a good idea about people that modify cell phones! I haven't even thought of that.
i took apart the stock head unit from my 96 civic and colored the leds with a red sharpie and it glowed amber... that might help u.. its been about 1 year and its just starting to fade ever so slightly
