Torque spec on Steering wheel nut.
hey guys...
Can you guys tell me the torque spec on the steering wheel hub nut for a 92-95 civic hatch. I planning on replacing my stock steering wheel to a aftermarket momo quick release setup.
Also, when attaching the new hub, will the steering column turn? How dow i prevent the steering column from turning?
I'm using the NRG short hub with a quick release and momo wheel.
I've tried searching the torque spec for this and all i found were torque specs on flywheels, head bolts etc...
any help will be appreciated...
thx for looking...

well not exactly sure about a number but the way i did mine.... i took the key out and used my socket wrench to turn the hub til it locked. after that just tighten as much as you can and you will know when its tight enough. if its too loose your steering wheel will be a bit wobbly... other than that nothin to it at all. good luck
and put some pics up when u get it finished

I locked my collum by turning the steering all the way until i cant turn anymore with the key in the ignition. The reason i did this is because i know some one that pop their own ignition when tightning the bolt down. But make sure you mark "TOP" so your hub is going to be strait when its on. I dont know the torque specs, just hand tight it.
