how to get at moonroof drain tubes
Searched but could find how to get at the drain tubes? specificly the one that goes by the front passenger side. ive got a water leak coming in and dripping from just above the kick panel, ive checked ******* everything else so its got to be from the drain tube !
for the front tubes I think you have to remove the the headliner.
if you have the fender off you can see where the tube goes through to the inside.

How ironic..another prelude with leak problems...lol. Hey man, my Prelude has had a leak for a while now and I finally decided to strip the car to the bone. First off, there are very few threads about the drainage tubes, so the search doesn't help THAT much. Secondly, I just took out the roof liner and like kulrevon said, all four tubes run down each pillar of the car, 2 in front, 2 in back.
The tubes running to the front run down the inside the frame of the car, in the pillars) making it pretty damn hard to get to (sorry bout the luck). They drain into the fender and if you pull back the fender lining, you can see a small black nozzle sticking out (that's the drainage valve). As far getting to where the tube connects to the valve, that's something I can't figure out how to get to, which is what seems to be your problem...From what I can tell the tube connects behind the frame itself (into the engine bay area) in the fender, but I could be wrong.
Now, If it's leaking into the car because it's backed up, you can do what I did and get a CO2 tank, plug into the tip of the valve and blow pressure into it. After doing that I poured water into my sunroof and it drained out fine again.
As far as the rear tubes go, they are easily found behind the trunk liner on either sides just above the wheel wells. Those valves can be popped right out and cleaned easily (they could have black gunky build-up in them).
Hope that helps man, and sorry for the long post...but that's all the info I know about it.

My trunk gets flooded down in the spare tire well. I even noticed that my backseat was wet so I ripped out the seat and saw a little puddle on the passengers seat. I've left the seats out for a while and nothing in the backseat but still stuff going to the trunk. I can see the back tubes if I pull back the piece of plastic right by the rear window but in the trunk I can't see the tubes. I don't even know if that is my problem.
To get to the front passenger side drain tube if you take the panel off underneath the dash you should be able to see the drain tube and if you take the headliner off you will be able to get to the top, just pull back the clips and then you should be able to slide it off, my drivers side drain tube leaks and I think to get to the drivers side drain tube you have to remove the fuse box I think but im not sure.
awesome, thanks for the information guys ! ill have to take a closer look when i have time then ! thanks for the information again
nice info, just saw this after I posted my question. it would be a good idea to blow air from the moonroof drain tubes @ the assembly up top, then work your way down. I'm goin thru hell with mines - checked the clamps for the tubes, and down by the rear fender wells to see if they're gunked up. usually that would help some, I didn't have that much of luck tho
