my GF just picked up a 2000 EX and the original owner had an alarm put in and it wasnt done very well. i just have some quick questions regarding the normal behavior of this car.

did this car originally come with keyless entry?

after the car is started, are the doors supposed to lock automatically?

theres a white plastic box about 4"x3"x1" behind the small kick panel to the left of where the drivers feet are and it has an alpine label on it. it looks factory but im not positive. the previous owner doesnt know if there was keyless entry because the original owner just gave her the alarm remotes. if this car did come with keyless entry, is it possible to get new remotes from the dealer and set them up?

 

My 2000 ex has keyless with a honda key fob. my doors do not lock automatically.
