So guys what rpm do you shift at for a type-s?

 

DD or racing...

 

dd 35-40
racing 75-80

 

my car just turned 6000 mi.

and I've been babying it since the first day I got it,

everything from garaging it to driving normaL at 3-4.5 RPM

 

in the mornings when its cold i shift around 3-3.5. When it warms up i usually shift around 5k just daily driving. (have a bit of a lead foot) When im in a hurry i use the sound of VTEC as a 'shift now' indicator and if im racing at w.o.t. i shift around 8 +/-

 

is this a seriouse ?.. when im racing i would imagine redline might be a good idea dd is liek a standard anthing around 3-4.5

 

8600 rpms when racing
3500 daily

 

if ur chiped u can go over redline

 

reflashed 8500-8600 i believe
k-proed you can have your redline where ever you want (as long as its in the safezone)

 

3500-4k DD.

i barely hit the VTAK anymore with gas at about 3.30 per gallon.
