Default Keep my gsr or go b20v?

At the moment I have a mildly built gsr, Im just wondering how a mild built b20vtec will compare to my gsr???Anybody have feedback who've had both motors?

My setup as of now is:
C1 block 81.5 11.5.1 wisecos, eagle rods
b16 head rev springs and retainers, blox b's, ITR IM and TB
3" intake, hytech header, 2.5" exhasut
b16 tranny
tuned on crome

If I were to take my spare b20 block and put some 12.1 pistons in it with the same head and bolt on setup, would it really be that big of a difference form the gsr?

I say you will get 210whp from your b20v and also you will more tq than the gsr...

i would keep the gsr and build of that...sure the b20 will make power but reliability has a price...so i dunno if you are just planning to slap a b20 block with no mods...or a mild build...?

just build the b20 block with rs pistons. cheap and effective.
if it blows, you got the gsr one as a spare.

do you have a sleeved on with eagle rods, arp rod bolts, balanced crank, new bearings, new oil pump, and new water pump? All you need is pistons. You can make an all motor beast or boost the poop out of it just need some pistons.

A b20 is 10% larger than a b18.

no replacement for displacement.

If you can keep it together.

2 people have mentioned reliability already with the b20. I would keep the gsr. You could stroke it, with either a kit or an LS crank. In my opinion, the gsr block is a more reliable choice. If you want unreliability, don't drive a Honda.
