Code 22: Vtec pressure valve??

My friends b16 is throwing code 22 which is vtec pressure valve..his oil is fine and vtec kicks in..but the cel light goes on randomly..What could we do to fix this? thanks

Was throwing just code 22. Now, 22 is gone and it's CEL code 21, Why?
