speakers/new head unit in 03 accord
i have a question.
i drive an 03 honda accord ex 4cyl. right now i have the stock system and head unit. it sounds OK. better than some stock, but nothing special. it is a little rattly. i want to get all new speakers put in, but here-in lies the problem.
my head unit also has a 6 disc changer, and displays all my airconditioning/heat information. for the money i want to pay, i wouldnt be able to get a head unit to match the features needed.
would it be worth reaplacing all the speakers, without changing the head unit?

Yes even though your climate controls are built into the factory one
You need to get this install kit
http://www.crutchfield.com/S-x...97862
that kit moves the head unit down, and keeps the factory one in for the climate controls, but all audio is ran threw ur new head unit, whichever one u get
That kit comes with the wirining harness and dash kit, all you need is the head unit and your all set
And as for speakers, i would get infinty reference series, there amazing, them and a new head unit would sound very good
